Looks like the folks over at Google are making the move to TV! Partnering with Sony on a new tevisions service called Google TV. This is quite refreshing to think that we might have an Android based service called Google TV. The Android based solution that will hook into online repositories that are some of our favorites include YouTube and Hulu, this will either be brought to the set via online connection or through a set-top box or even directly embedding the software into your set. Equipped with Google Chrome as its browser it will allow you access to some of your favorite sites such as Twitter and Picasa. ...

This morning has been one of anxious excitement as thousands of Droid owners sat anticipating the arrival of a new firmware upgrade 2.1. This was supposed to bring all the joys of pinch to zoom in the browser, better optimized UI, and much more.... ...

Looks like today is the day for Verizon to start rolling out the 2.1 update for Moto Droid. A good source over at BGR hit me up with these dates and release info:

At noon EST on 3/18, 1,000 users will receive notification of the update At 11:59 PM EST on 3/18, 9,000 more users will receive the update notification After the first 10,000 users receive the update on 3/18, there will be a 24-hour period when no additional upgrades will be delivered On Day 3 (3/20), 200,000 users will receive the update notification at 11:59 PM EST This schedule will continue each day thereafter until the update has been pushed to all users.

Looks like Google has done it again with another Google Maps update. The latest Maps update has some very unique and eye catching touches. For one, I first noticed after updating is the new search screen. It is now much more user friendly and quicker to see what restaurants or what ever your looking for. Since the release of Google Buzz, Google has been hard at work implementing it into most of all there apps. ...

Looks like the Wallstreet Journal has decided to chime in on the new HTC SuperSonic. According to the Wallstreet Journal Sprint is expected to announce the Supersonic next week at CTIA. This announcement just happens to coincide with ClearWires 1 half 2010 delivery of the first WiMAX device. Sprint is sure scoring some points as of late with the news of the Nexus One and now the SuperSonic making their way to Sprints Network. Lets hope that Sprints coverage improves as well. ...

Google Nexus One is becoming more and more widespread throughout carriers. Currently, Nexus One is already available thru T-Mobile and AT&T. Verizon Wireless should be announcing availability within coming weeks, and now Sprint is joining the Nexus One family. Sprint has not announced any dates yet, but I would imagine fairly soon. ...

Normally, March 17th does signify the wearing of green. However, Google just may be a bit blue after the day they've had. So far this week we've seen reports of meager (if not horrendous) sales of the Nexus One compared to initial iPhone sales. While this may not mean much, the denial of a U.S. patent does. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has been rumored to have rejected Google's application for a trademark on the Nexus One. ...
