Will this work on a non-rooted Motorola Droid? If it will work, will this make my phone be rooted after installation or is this just like what I would get OTA (if they ever get around to releasing it)? Thanks.

I tried just going through clockwork to see. It installed on my phone fine. The automative verizon phone service wouldnt reconnect with that setup. I sacrificed only my apps to reinstall. So If your weak hearted dont try unless going through those steps ,Layed out on the forum page or a better way. Ill try those next. You will have too boot up with pOWER AND X go through your USB . Because front screen locked til phone cut on. Reinstall the baseband we had before. If something dont happen I made sure to do a restore at same time since I already sacificed my apps. Then you get your service back on. My rom manager disappeared and wouldnt reinstall. Until I cleaned market cache and then he DLs. I always backup my stuff first. Clean. Just to make sure easy flow. If something does happen your restore is there. I even keep My whole present file system, and 2.0, 2.1 nandroid, Bones froyo version I have at the time. Easier to get back in. Everything I ever used or installed on my phone in a file on my desktop with a copy. In case have to plug up Rsd for support. AND have accessories I like handy. Your Rom Manager and Titanium Back up is your best friend. They dont always work, not for reasons of their own, So many differences in peoples programs and market and versions. Then files get corrupt easily too. In so many places and so many Dl and Ul them. Thanks this file was bigger than anyone I ever seen too. I got a T1 personal connect. 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 THEAMED and LOADED. Still took less and were smaller than this file. Dont know. I got the latest from XDA supposively the same. It wasnt mo where as big or as long to DL. Could been alot of reasons, I couldnt see for that. I didnt get to see the file open. Have fun with it though if you can. Be excited if it something new. Never know what hidden features that radio file opens up. It wouldnt cut me on. LOL.

oK i I just looked at all the files. This is field service test. It does have all the new apps he mentioned and more It also has provider apps and more information it seeks for than any other. Verizon, Htc. It has 3 times the files a normal package has. I believe this is or really close to the final dollar. Its not like the one I installed this week that was suppose to be the final. This actually has the radio app. The widget, flashlight widget and more. If cant install it. I hope you boys and girls can enjoy. Im just trying to learn this stuff and get some courses. Im just a Noob too. This looks to be the real deal. Have Fun , Ihope someone working on More roms for this, Lol.
