From time to time I receive email notifications from Samsung with special offers, and this deal is a pretty good one, so I thought I would pass this one along. I registered recent purchases of a few Samsung products and I suppose this is how I was included on their mailing list, but if you visit their website you can sign up to receive these notifications also.

For a limited time, when you buy a New Samsung Galaxy Nexus at $299.99, Samsung will throw in a free Galaxy Nexus i515 Battery Bundle Kit. The Samsung i515 Lithium Ion Extended Battery Cover is engineered to offer additional protection for your extended lithium ion battery. This Extended Battery Cover is to be used with the 2100 mAh extended battery included.

i didn't get the bundle but i do have the bigger battery, it's not that much bigger and so far i've noticed and extra hour and half before needing a charge. that's with medium to heavy use.
