Opera Mini 7 browser launched for Android smartphones

Opera Software launched Opera Mini 7 for Android today, the latest version of its third-party browser.

Opera Mini 7 offers a number of performance and usability improvements over older versions, and Opera says that its advanced compression technology can even save users money on their data plans.
Opera Mini 7 does away with the limit of 9 websites for the Speed Dial feature, as users can now have an unlimited number of Speed Dials set up for quick access to commonly used sites. Opera says that this feature negates the needs for bookmarks and having to deal with typing in web addresses all the time.

Opera Mini 7's compression technologies shrink the data used to load websites by up to 90 percent, which Opera says improves page load times and save users on data charges. You can download the Opera Mini 7 browser for free from the Google Play Store now.
