Hello, Need some direction on which way to go to repairing my droidx. ive got sbf's flashed that had a "pass" result but this phone wont boot past the recovery. it has bootloader 30.04 and ive tried to clear cache several times and do the format option above it.. should I consider this to be totally broken? It was my cousins so I dont know all what he tried. Is there anyway to tell if this is a brick? :)

You have to go to the stock bootloader and erase/format data. I think it's power and home button at the same time to get the android guy with the triangle, and then power and/or home and volume buttons. Something like that.

stock bootloader?...lol.

You need to wipe cache and do a factory restore from the STOCK Recovery.

Press and hold Home + Power, hold until you see the triangle, then rock the vol +/- switch a couple of times. After you are in the stock recovery use vol buttons to navigate, pwr button to select.

Does the bootloader show any error codes?
