ok so i bought this droid x on ebay and am having trouble with it. it turns on and gets to the lockscreen and then reboots after about 5seconds, same on safe mode. i am running .605 stock. i have tried flashing different sbfs with rsdlite but it always gets errors veryfing code groups. on linux method, it says succesful and phone reboots but still same problem and same firmware. i cant get it to factory restore in settings, reboots to soon, and the recovery seems to work but doesnt actaully wipe data or cache. i have tried taking sd card out, multiple us ports, and two computers:windows 7 and xp. it seems to be frozen because i always turn ringer volume down and it comes back on after reboot. the warranty expired 10/26/11 and i am not using a hundred dollars to have moto fix it. also, does a usb cable really change anything? I am using droid 2 usb cable

I had the same problem with my driod 2 global i had it going good for awhile. Then it rebooted it. Couldnt get it to stay in the bootloader tried sbfing couldnt get into that for 10 seconds took a hammer smashed it problem solved.

The only thing i can think of is trying to power it on and getting into the factory restore menu. And doing a factory reset. But you probably already tried that.
