I've downloaded the software and I can run it and install the drivers. The next popup ("Provide the end user detailed instructions for manually configuring their drivers.") never appears though
I've run it automatically and also manually try to setup the drivers (removing the driver and redirecting it manually to Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit driver). In both cases, I can open a terminal with adb devices and my device is displayed. List devices of the Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit also shows my device. The Windows Explorer reaches the card and I can use it normally. But all backups return with 0 kb. I'm affraid to go further with rooting without the backup. Is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus I9250 really root capable? More details: Android 4.0.2 ICL53F 3.0.8-gaaa2611 GSM/HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus "maguro" Thanks for any advice (I've read a lot in internet about it but I can't manage...). #3 OFFLINEPosted 14 March 2012 - 02:59 PM
Sorry me... After digging a lot I've just saw that I've set previously a backup password into the phone settings.
When I've starting a new one, I was not providing that one. Now I'm capable of backing up and I'm much more self confident to go further. #4 OFFLINEPosted 17 March 2012 - 08:58 PM
