In the writeup he said "we're putting +5V DC on pin 4, and only 17 thousandths of an inch away is ground on pin 5".
The only open pin is next to a white wire which is negitive the ground is black and is on the other side. So I'm not sure if he got ground and negitive mixed up by accident or I have a wrong cable????

I can post a link if you want.
I also have pictures if anyone wants to see.

Are you not suppose to make your own cable? I can't get anybody to confirm my cable in three different fourms?

I made one and it works great. its not pretty but does the job.
  • Strip down the end of your USB Mini/Micro so that the cables or circuit board is showing.
  • Solder a wire from the red wire (pin 1) to the (pin 4)

Do at your own risk
