I need your help. I have a Droid Charge that came factory stock with Froyo. I had a TON of problems with it. I found a leaked version of Gingerbread (Stock/Rooted) that I put on the phone. It has worked PERFECTLY ever since. Recently, Verizon automatically downloaded a new OS for the phone. I assume it is the official Gingerbread version. Sooooo, I keep getting these upgrade notices. I finally tried to accept the upgrade and it failed. The phone recovered just fine but now I get the upgrade notice every time I turn on the phone. My only two options are 1) install now or 2) install later. I am kind of stuck.
Question: Is there a way to get rid of the official upgrade and keep the version I have?
Thanks in advance.
