I had Rooted my DroidX2 and setup Wifi tethering, was working great, Internet access, then a few months later I could connect fine but no internet access?
current system version: 1.3.380 MB870 Verizon.
Android 2.3.4
kernel 2.6.32.9-00005 -g244aba
build 4.5.1A-DTN-150-30

I suspect Verizon has setup their firewall to block
Anyone else having issue with no internet access.

Also Verizon has pushed out their latest update: 1.3.418.en
However I have not installed this update of fear of losing WiFi tether
Well, so much for not doing the update it wasnt working anyway.

Have you tried updating wifi tether? Newer versions of the app may have a fix in them.

Thanks, but I tried that but would not work, so went and tried barnacle, it would not work,. rebooted phone and then Barnicle WiFi it l started to work. I tried WiFi tether again, no dice.
Downloaded the latest Wifi tether, same.
download Open garden it works great! So thanks for your input! Weird huh, even after previous re-boots
No I need to find the latest update to Gingerbread so the OTW will stop nagging me for upgrade,
