As most people do on occasion, I dropped my phone the other day from a 3 1/2 foot bench to the concrete floor in my office. It landed face down. At first it had some kind of warped looking areas with very thin black line through them. But after a few days those turned into several black dots about 1/8-1/4" in diameter. They make it awkward to look at videos and especially send and receive texts. I am planning on upgrading from the Droid X to the Razr Maxx soon but I was wondering if there is anything I can do about those spots in the mean time, or is that permenant damage? I dropped my Droid 2 a number of times on that same concrete floor and it never did anything to the display.
