I can not wait for this to be released to the masses. Is this a Rom you developed on your own P3? Will you be releasing it?

I think this is 2.2 - Froyo - not P3Rom,

The pics are definitely there. I can't wait until we can all get this. Is it a Nexus One port or is it a Droid specific release of Froyo that is running in the pics?

Just imagine his ROM (o/c to 1G or higher) running froyo. I bet the MFLOPS will be 50 or so. Well seeing as I've seen an actual Droid running Froyo already IMO there is no need to OC it, if anythign maybe a bump to 750Mhz but other then that it really is not needed. Stock Froyo pulled a 9.5Mflop average over the couirse of 10 runs with LinPack. Everything else on the device was fast and slick to say the least. to further add the one I saw the boot.img is clocked to the actual chip spec ( IE 600 Mhz) and not down clocked to 550mhz like they are sold as. Froyo has made some nice changes that help out with the entire feel and usage of the phone. And if we can get away without having to really OC it will help drastically with battery life also IMO #16 OFFLINEPosted 25 May 2010 - 11:10 AM
How about a screenshot of Menu > Settings > About Phone showing the model, firmware version, etc? Also, would it be possible to get a picture of the whole phone showing off a FroYo feature? Just to pre-empt any photoshopping claims some doubters might have...

Already asked myself and it can not be posted. There is info displayed on that screen that would allow it to be back traced to where the file came from and an employee at Moto could get fired over it. Trust me it exists I know of more then one person who already has it installed and running on there Droid and has been for a while now. The pics in this thread are exactly what I saw when I had the device in hand so there for sure is not editing or photoshop stuff going on. I will try to get a pic of the device with Froyo on it tho showing one of the new updated features it will have so that eases some peoples minds. #18 OFFLINEPosted 25 May 2010 - 11:41 AM Aixelsyd said: Already asked myself and it can not be posted.
