New and improved Cyanogen Rom (Droid Only) lockscreen. Now you have options. With this file you can not only have the rotary lockscreen but you can swap back to the normal lockscreen or go back and forth as much as you like.

Step 1: Download file to your SDCARD [ATTACH]322[/ATTACH]
Step 2: Restart Phone in recovery mode
Step 3: Install Zip
Step 4: Restart phone
Step 5: Open Terminal Application
Step 6: Type SU
Step 7; Select the lock screen by typing one of the following codes
rlock = rotary lockscreen
tlock = tabbed lockscreen

This may not work on all Cyanogenmod Roms (there is a known problem with CM roms that have been themed).

Just installed in on CM 5.0.7.1 and it works great.

I'll never understand why they increased the unlock haptic feedback on the newr lock screens...

Do we have to have special scripts loaded for this to work? Followed instructions and got "rlock not found".....using CM 5.0.7.1

+1 on this...rlock not found.

EDIT: I tried putting the .zip on the root of my SD card, rebooting, and no go. I tried extracting the .zip to the root of the SD card, rebooting, no go.

EDIT #2: I am an idiot. rebooted to CW recovery, installed .zip from SD card, rebooted, and we're off to the races. Might want to mention that when you type rlock into the Terminal, that the screen goes black and it reboots itself. This panicked the crap out of me the first time. Unless, of course, it is not supposed to do this. In which case, I hope I didn't eff anything up.

works with jrummy's cm71 mod, just needed to grab images from non themes framework-res.

btw, does anyone know if this can be done for the answer/ignore call slide animation? would really prefer rotary for that too.

Quick question

I installed via abd shell -- it rebooted -- and amazingly it worked and I had already themed the 0.7.1 ROM with Manup's Hazmatic Theme -- Well chalk this one up to success -- Great

How did you get the rotary lockscreen working on jrummy's theme for cm 5.0.7.1?

tka, i replaced the images in the framework-res.apk thats included in jrummy's rom with the ones from the stock cyanogen rom. look for knob*.png

for some reason they are blank in the jrummy apk maybe to reduce file size?

oh also, does anyone know if this can be done for the answer/ignore sliders? i hate the straight sliders lol
