Well, I must admit that this one has me a bit disappointed. What happened to the rebound scrolling? Where is the wifi tether? Where is Apps2SD? If this is a release candidate; I am afraid we are in for yet ANOTHER disappointing release; same as with our 2.1 official......
I hope i'm wrong; but it doesn't look like the OS I was expecting.......... And i've tried it TWICE from scratch; dunno if it's just me but it feels sort of laggy.......

So I have to ask... How do we get WiFi enabled?

When I go to youtube and it tells me I need flash player I click it and it takes me to market but says file not found?? #32 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2010 - 10:16 AM

You have to dowload the apk. P3droid posted it on here somewhere. This is a beast. Framebuffers enabled, uses .32 kernel and latest omapzoom omx source and drivers. My droid is running faster at 500mhz than a 2.1 nexus.

Ok. When I ran Quadrant tests, each time the score went up. So I assume you have to let this sit for a bit. I read that syncing is causing the slowness too. Or just grab a better launcher from the Market. Radiotime.com works now thanks to Flash and Froyo.. (sadly the app still doesnt work too good, still missing stations I can get fine on the website.) I dont need an FM Radio now.

Slow?! I used rom manager to wipe everything and do the install through clockwork. Then did a clean setup put on flashand rebooted. Installed only apps and data from titanium, unchecked them all and selected only downloaded apps
Did not select any android or google data or apps. Then rebootrd again Running really fast. #36 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2010 - 10:26 AM jdeclue said: You have to dowload the apk. I know a little about the droid and its kernals and such but what do you mean by Frambuffers enabled and what is considered .32 kernal? Also how do I do a quadrant test? #37 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2010 - 10:36 AM
What kernels are everyone using? If we use a different kernel will WiFi work again?

I tried installing a different kernel (1.2 jdlfg and a 1.2 p3droid) and got boot loops. I think we have to wait for the kernels to be patched to work with 2.2. I restored the boot partition using clockwork and fixed it, though. Also, if someone could get a working 1.2ghz kernel i'd <3 you long time #39 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2010 - 10:40 AM wjchisholm86 said: I know a little about the droid and its kernals and such but what do you mean by Frambuffers enabled and what is considered .32 kernal? Apparently after installing 2.2 only Clockworkmod recovery works now....
