Ive been hard at work today. These are all overclocked kernels, included in the kernel is a fix for the wifi. These are formated for Clockwork Recovery, to use in SP Recovery download and rename to update.zip.

Your choices are:

I am releasing a new set of kernels, they are not as low as the lowest kernels I produce and they are not as high as the standard voltages from Motorola (which means better battery life and more stability).

Series 1 - has 125mhz as the low end - the way 2.2 (froyo) handles wakeups has greately improved and thus 125 works well now. (This should lead to lower power consumption)

Series 2 - has 250mhz as the low end - the way 2.2 (froyo) handles wakeups has greately improved and 250 will be even more responsive but will consume more power than 125mhz.

The 1100MHz kernel is actually a 1200MHz kernel according to setCPU... but anyway, thanks a million for this! Wifi works wonderfully! :)

Man had to go to work today for pushing out a new release. P3 you have made today so worth it. Thanks for all your hard work. UPDATE: got 1200 running WIFI is fixed and OS is much faster.

I installed the 1.25 Kernal and SetCpu says it is 1100 just to let you guys know! Other then that great job!

Great work P3. I really appreciate the hard work and diligence. I installed the 250-1000 kernel and when I restarted the launcher kept force closing and restarting on me. Any suggestions?

Not trying to be an asshole here; but did you try a slower kernel? Maybe your phone can't handle 1GHz with the new JIT compiler? Just a thought/suggestion.

Actually no i didn't. I have ran 1000 with other ROMs before with no problem. I wasn't aware of this "JIT" complier or even know what that is. Thanks and no offense was taken :)

I am betting that it's something I am doing wrong. I reset and wiped the phone again and restored the Froyo backup. I didn't bother installing the kernel but instead just attempted to restore my apps and data using Titanium backup. It then starting force closing on me once the backup was complete. I might just hold off until I see others with the same issues and see what the solution is. Most likely just user error. Anyways. great jog againg P3.

Anyone know how to get WIFi tethering to work? This does make regular WiFi work, but not any form of tethering. Neither Barnacle WiFi Tethering nor WiFi Tethering for Root Users works, and there is no option to tether via WiFi in the settings, just USB. Any info would be appreciated.
