[p3droid]

You have the Froyo on your phone. Due to restrictions I was not able to get you the radio that it came with but with the help of a few good friends now I present to you the radio file

* Thank you "ninja" you know who you are for the special file
* Thank you mbm for making this into a file everyone can use to easily update the radio.

Directions:

1. download the baseband file and place on the root of your sdcard. Download

If using sprecovery rename to update.zip

2. restart phone in recovery mode.

3. install the zip.

Disclaimer: you assume all risks when rooting/hacking/changing your phones radio file.

The install takes 45 sec to 1 min. When finished you will be required to re-activate your phone.

Having said that i've used it and my phone didn't blow up. Please enjoy the release.

The last baseband went ok. If this make it even better? I will NEVR get rid of my Droid.

For me it is, but its the froyo baseband, so it should be better for everyone.

I'm running petes bb 1.1 (Android 2.1). Will this baseband work with that too?

Has this been testing installing through Clockwork recovery?

Being paranoid, anyone have instructions or a sbf I can use to revert back if thise goes wrongly? I was told a standard backup does not cover baseband.

Sweet.. I got it but I think I'll wait for more feedback before application.

OK, did it.. gave me something about turning off the old phone OR enter the phone number followed by the last 4 of the SS# but once that was done programming went through fine.

I'm totally new to the world of Droid Modding and this Froyo debacle has been my first venture, spanning from this morning till 15 minutes ago. I've enjoyed the in depth instructions and the search function to answer most of my questions. Major thanks to P3 for being some sort of Droid Mystic Wizard :)

Did the activation process change? It asks me for my "account passcode." I've never needed to use it before and I dont even know what it is.
