I know Saturday was a big day. With that we say the first leak of Froyo hit the streets. Today I bring you a new leak. This one is an update to the leak from Friday. The rules are the same. Download the one that matches your recovery (SpRecovery or Clockwork).

PLEASE NOTE: THE FROYO IS FOR VERIZON WIRELESS IE CDMA MOTOROLA DROID ONLY....IT WILL NOT WORK ON MILESTONE.

Both files come with a 600mhz kernel, download an overclocked one from the other thread, and are rooted.

So I'll need to use the update found in the other one to regain root again?

Yeah I'd like to now that as well.

Major changes, etc.

Only problem with the, inevitable, amount of leaks we'll see is its start over every time since I have a feeling not wiping first will cause some issues due to tiny changes in the OS.

Awesome, p3droid!

I do have one question, though: From the "other thread" (which I think is HERE, but I may be wrong), am I just changing the kernel, or are these full ROMs?

OK, Maps no longer says it needs an update in market.

Also, Chrome to Phone / Firefox to Phone may be working - will post back in a bit.

With this update, the input method trick doesnt fix swype for me, but an uninstall/reinstall did.

Scrolling feels choppier on a few apps I was using, but I can confirm that Chrome to Phone is now working. I didn't perform a wipe or anything. I just dropped the folder into my Nandroid directory and loaded it.

I installed the first leak,
switched to a custom ROM,
installed probably another custom ROM of this leak,
I found that out after the fact tonight, lol.

I didnt wipe anything just to see what might happen....so far nothing happened. I think these builds are so similar it might not be a problem.

As long as no one have a custom theme or anything it might be alright not to wipe. I'm not saying dont wipe, but for me so far its fine.

I can confirm that chrometophone is working on this rom. It was worth it to flash just for that. :d

My Moto Torch isn't working, also I can't use any of the color LEDs, the only one that works is green.
