Thanks P3! *Installing Now*. Should be even better for the ROM I'm trying to build (for extracting the proprietary files).

First off a BIG Thankx for all the stuff you do:) I have a few questions...1)do u put this over your existing froyo?if not what preperations should one do?2)a little off topic here,,how would I beable to delete some backups off my phone?the reason why I ask is having to many backups take up space on your phone causing it to lag?

If you're running Clockwork open Rom Manager and choose to manage/restore backups. You can then delete your old backups.

Since this is "official" (supposedly), would users without root/custom recovery be able to install this? What differentiates the official with the leaked rc builds as far as being able to install it on a non-rooted phone? i would imagine it has something to do with signing the build, but i would think that rc's and supposed official build leaks would be signed as well. am i wrong?

I didn't wipe and it worked perfectly. But I decided to wipe and reinstall now because I want a fresh start to this "official" leaked (oxymoron?) version. haha

No, you have to BE rooted to install this (or at least flash SPRecovery via RSDLite) This is not an "official" release, this is a hacked release of the official release code.

You are lucky that today is a good day or I would delete your post for spewing filthy lies. If you don't know what you are talking about say very little it shows less of your ignorance.
:) Cheers.
