I was in the market for a cradle for my Android devices and scoured the internet looking for the highest quality, most reasonably priced cradle I could find. I stumbled upon a site that looked to have what I was looking for. I ordered the cradles and within a few days they were on my doorstep. I opened the box and pulled out what I had ordered and was immediately impressed with the build quality and before even mounting them in my vehicle I had all 4 of my device’s (Droid, Droid X, Droid Incredible, Samsung Vibrant and the obligatory BlackBerry) out making sure they would all work. Sure enough the cradle’s securely held each device without a problem. I also found out today that those of you who have purchased the Droid 2 that the new Mega Grip System also holds the Droid 2 as well. Placing the devices in the cradle is a simple one handed operation and the cradle automatically adjusts for device size. Releasing the device is as simple placing the device in the cradle, it’s all a one handed operation. Once the device is secured in the cradle you still have access to your charging port or headphone jack should you need it. Mounting the cradle in my vehicle was just as easy as placing the device in the cradle, no matter which cradle I used. The cradle allows for a vertical or horizontal mount and is easily adjustable to fit your needs and your budget.
The first cradle I installed was the Air Vent Cradle, which mounts securely to the vent via special clips and another bracket rests on the adjuster. Once installed, it was time to place my device in the cradle and it was quick one handed operation that securely held my device in place. The big test was driving with the device was installed in the cradle. Would it move, would it fall? These are questions I’m sure we would all ask. Well, rest assured this cradle does the job, and does it well. Overall this cradle is one of the best I’ve used! If you are looking for a great cradle to hold your device securely and at a reasonable price this one could be for you!

Since the Droid X is a larger device and finding an armband to put it in while I take the dogs for walks seemed to be difficult. Well Arkon has an answer for you, the Sports Armband works great with the Droid X, Droid and Droid Incredible and the Eris. It’s not bulky and holds the device securely. No worries about dropping the devices or having it fall out of your pocket. If you are looking for an Armband to hold your device while working out or just taking a walk this will be the one for you! It’s made of neoprene and had a clear window to view your device if needed. It’s fully adjustable and attaches with Velcro.

If youre not a big fan of the Air Vent Cradle this one may be for you. The Friction Dash mount Cradle, this cradle is mounted to a friction pad that sits on the dash with a bracket that helps keep it in place the bracket is mounted with two sided tape. Or, if you are just looking for a way to hold your device while sitting at your PC this also works well too. I decided to test this out on my dash so I drove around for a day making fast turns and stops. The friction pad kept it in place with no movement at all. So, if this is the type of dash mount you‘re looking for, I highly recommend this mount.

The Mini Windshield, Dashboard & Console Mount Cradle is one of my favorites. This cradle can be mounted just about anywhere with the include base. The cradle keeps my device secure while giving me the options of mounting it in my favorite place. Best of all it’s reasonably priced.
