So far the only way to change is to due a SBF reflash.

If this is to be true then I am SOL myself. Regardless, I'll look into it when I get home from work. I still have every intention of donating. These guys are deserve compensation for their efforts to see to it that we are taken care of. #24 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:30 AM staywide8 said: Yea. I'm in trouble due to koush's boot shit. It wasn't $hit when you got it, so why trash him now? Hmm? Poor Form, period. SBF and then root and run this. I suppose you'll be calling this $hit if you run into any issues as well .... #25 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:32 AM
What? I call everything shit. No hatred intended to Koush, or I wouldn't of spent my money on it. Go hate somewhere else pub.

Can't we get the original logwrapper from a system dump?
#29 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:34 AM

#30 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:37 AM
Any idea why my linpack is 13/14 mflops and quadrant is 1333?
#31 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:41 AM
quick question... if we update to 2.2 and still have root and all that....can we then use koush's recovery to make a backup...and to flash some ROMS once they come out..or will that only work for 2.1 as of now?
#32 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:42 AM
Ok I downloaded the file but now I have 2 questions. 1) Do I unzip or just put the update folder right on the sd card? 2) Where is the root on the sd card? I am new to this and this is the first time I am upgrading to a leak. The X is my first android phone but I did have both storms and used to update to leaks all the time. That brings me to one more question what happens when the official verizon froyo update is released? Is this leak gonna void my warranty if something goes wrong with the phone and verizon sees its 2.2?
#33 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:42 AM
Wow. Linpack jumped from 8.9 to 13.8. Quad went from 1285 to 1475.

I would imagine putting firmware, OS, or modification on your device that VZW or Google didn't release or intend to release probably voids your warranty. Using the SBF file, and flashing back to the that should get you to a point where no one knows or realizes you did anything... Edited by Mark_Venture, 20 August 2010 - 07:47 AM.

Not in any folders #38 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:45 AM aholeinthewor1d said: quick question... if we update to 2.2 and still have root and all that....can we then use koush's recovery to make a backup...and to flash some ROMS once they come out..or will that only work for 2.1 as of now? X1 I really don't want to lose Koush's recovery and lose the ability to get custom rom's in the future!!! #39 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:45 AM
Worked like a charm - Adobe Flash and all!
