I keep getting an error when I try to flash the 2.2 leak. I've noticed a couple other people are getting the same thing. Does anyone know why or how we can fix the issue, whatever it is.

Looks like Koush's recovery is causing me issues. Complaining about logwrapper. Anyone got logwrapper from the original install?

p3droid says you gotta use stock recovery not Koush's @MrDonBonJovi Stock recovery
let me know if you guys get it working! #7 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:14 AM

I used both Koush's recovery and the stock recovery and still am getting the error. This is so frustrating.
Should I do a hard reset and then not install Koush's? Would that even matter? Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk #13 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:40 AM Quote Those with logwrapper problems. You don't need to reflash. You need to connect via adb and remount your system folder with rw permission. Go to /system/bin remove the hijack link to logwrapper and rename logwrapper.bin to logwrapper. I was extra safe and made a backup of hijack, logwrapper, and logwrapper.bin. Then I: rm logwrapper cp logwrapper.bin logwrapper Then exit adb. Currently flashing now. From drhill of android forums. I did this and my update is now working as I type. No more error status 7! #14 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:45 AM

Nevermind ... Hold VOL DOWN, CAMERA and HOME and power up ... white text on a black screen shows you're in boot loader mode.
I am installing 2.2 now :) #17 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:55 AM
I was having the Error status 7, ran .sbf recover and it is working fine now.

I'm getting error 7 on /system/framework/framework-res.apk
I've already replaced to stock files but it still won't work right... #19 OFFLINEPosted 20 August 2010 - 07:57 AM
I'll try to find you a framework fix while my 2.2 is updating. Hang in there, no man left behind.
