So I reinstalled fly x, wiped data and cache, reinstalled tranquility, and my calendar is working...

I have fixed the calendar issue this morning on my droidX.. Here's how.

then move the file to you /system/app folder and set the permissions to 644

after that reboot and the calendar should began working again.

So I am on 2.2 leak, Can I just install this over it using bootstrap? And if there is issues can i use the sbf flash to go back to 2.1

If you "lost" root on the update its pretty easy to get back, especially if you had rooted 2.1 before moving to the 2.2 leak.

adb shell

$ /system/xbin/su

# mount -t ext3 -o rw,remount /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system

# cp /system/xbin/su /system/bin/su

# chmod 4755 /system/bin/su

# sync

# mount -t ext3 -o ro,remount /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system

# exit

$ exit

If that doesn't work just root with the droid2 root method.

I also noticed another issue I was having. I was using the built in blur twitter and Facebook contact sync and that this was now broken. I ended up re-adding FriendFeed.apk and that fixed the issue. This also gave me the social networking app back, which I liked. Let me know if anyone wants me to post the file.

Woohoo! It works!!! My only complaint now is the new stock calendar app, all day events that appear at the top of the screen when you are in single-day view, they look cut off at the very top, not very readable... I might install the blur calendar app with the provider.apk

I noticed I was having this problem too and had to keep pulling the battery to get back into the phone. I noticed that when I tried to reboot into another backup I had it wasn't rebooting my phone anymore and I was getting zero prompts when using bootstrapper or rom manager from SU manager. So I am guessing at this point I will just flash sbf, go with a clean 2.2 and then install this and see if it works better.

I did try this over the top of FlyX and it was fine, some quirks but I think thats related to a couple of the beesely mods in the build.prop I used.

hmm, i'm having trouble installing the angry birds beta. anyone else having this issue? attempted to install it off the market and side load it, both give a vague "unable to install" error. i'm able to install and update other apps just fine. my friend running a stock 2.1 x was able to install the angry birds beta successfully.

Would this be the reason i dont have anymore pics with my contacts when txting. i had it set up to my facebook account n now when txting there are no pics.

Yes. Worked fine. I've added this theme, the NexTheme fonts and a different bootanimation and it all worked fine.

angry birds works fine for me..was a bit slow to dl and install though..

Can you please post that friendfeed.apk file please. Thats the only thing I didn't like about the ROM, not having my contact pics. Or PM it to me if it will break some rules by posting a copyrighted apk.

Any one else notice that the touch screen is laggy when not touched for a min? When first touching my home screen, it takes a sec. For it to register....same with the app drawer....
