I'm currently rooted running Froyo FRGO1B
The Verizon OTA update has downloaded but I have not allowed it to install as I want to stay rooted. How do I remove the downloaded update? #2 OFFLINEPosted 03 September 2010 - 06:39 AM
delete it from your sdcard.

I deleted from the downloads folder, but I continue to get a message indicating that it has been downloaded and is ready to install. Where else might it be located? When I sort files and directories by date, I'm not seeing anything that looks suspicious. #4 OFFLINEPosted 03 September 2010 - 12:13 PM
On the your of your sdcard named update.zip

That is the one I deleted, but kept getting the message. After rebooting the phone, the message is gone and I'm still rooted. Thanks!
