Yes we have a name now, Team Black Hat brings you the next release of Froyo for the Motorola Droid X, this is available only for rooted users right now. Personal thanks need to go out the Andrew, CellZealot, and P3Droid without them this leak would not be possible. To get the newest froyo jump into to forum and follow the downloading and install directions.

Will this work to keep root?

FROM A ROOTED PHONE:

1. Run "adb shell"
2. Run "mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/system /system"
3. Run "mv /system/bin/su /system/xbin/su"
4. Copy the update.zip (download below) to your sdcard
5. Reboot into recovery (power down - hold volume down and home button and press the power button)
6. Run update.zip
