After so many reports of people being stuck at the M logo on their Droid X's TBH has compiled a System SBF that will revive your Droid X. So fear not we are here to help you recover your precious Droid X. You can flash the new SBF using RSDlite 4.8, which by the way is the latest version. Download both files below

If you already tried to use the 2.1 SBF this will not help you.

RSDLite 4.8 ---->

System SBF ---->

Please Login HERE or Register HERE to see this link!

If you are not familiar on how to use RSDLite here is a brief overview

Switch your device to PC mode
Turn on debugging mode (settings>applications>development>debugging mode)
Launch RSDLite (make sure device appears in window)
Select SBF
Start

Device will switch to bootloader and begin the flashing process and will reboot when it is complete.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ******

This is not a full sbf file, it will not cure the worlds ailments. It will recovery your system to the stock 2.3.13 odexed state. If you mess up something other than the system partition this will not fix your problem. But if your only trying to theme or delete blur this will work if something goes wrong.

When I turn on USB Debugging while in PC Mode RSDLite can't find my device anymore.

Also, while in PC Mode, even though I check USB Debugging, the icon in the status bar is not there.

Hmm, not sure if I should help you, I believe you said some pretty direct and personal things...

Maybe a dumb question but if I havent updated to ota 2.2 and am on the leaked 2.3.15, will this sbf work, or is it only for the ota 2.2?

Media Sync Mode is the only one that works with ADB on my device.

Note: The USB Debugging icon DOES NOT NEED TO BE THERE to access the device via adb. As long as USB Debugging is enabled, you should be able to access your device using one of the usb modes.

And thanks again TBH!

edit: Just looked at install instructions, did you make an error there?
Shouldn't it be:

Power Down Phone
Start in Bootloader (camera, volume down, power on)
Connect USB
Start RSD Lite
Select SBF and begin?

Actually, no, you're wrong. If you go look, I'm the ONLY person in that AF.com thread that actually stuck up for you. I told the OP he was essentially posting Warez on the forum since he was giving out your link from a paid app. So. I hope your feelings change towards me, Its kind of shocking that you think I did anything wrong. I dont bite the hand that feeds.

Peace, and Thank you for this.

OK, so as long as the device is recognized, I'm OK?

Because my device is only recognized in Charge Only mode and that's what I use for ADB.

Yeah, adb devices to see if you are listed. I know I also have to toggle through the options to get ADB to pick up my device once in a while. Just the way it is...

It will recovery your system to the stock 2.3.13 odexed

Isn't the stock odexed OTA 2.3.15? Or did I miss something? I just want to be sure.
