Hey there,
I tried searching around a little but couldn't find anything so making a post.

Is there any update out yet that will fix it so that the phone will stop trying to install the OTA 2.2 update. When it first started happening people said to simply let it try to install and it would fail and it would go away. That worked fine for the first OTA 2.2, but now that they have OTA FRG22D (the same as I am running rooted on the phone), it will redownload and try to update every couple of days.

It is extremely annoying, especially considering how crappy the 3G speeds are in the area I live, so having it redownloading the 60mb update file every day or two usually while I'm trying to do something else is highly annoying. Not to mention having to go through the process of letting it reboot and fail to install every day or two.

Thanks!

Still looking to find a fix for this, if anyone knows of an update for it or a way to stop it from repeatedly downloading the update. It has downloaded it twice since I made the original post :(

Click the link to find the fixed. It was previously posted in the froyo frg22d sticky thread.
