Sometimes I need to pull up a number from contacts or the call log while on a call to give a number er to the person on the phone. Can anyone tell me of a way to do this.without muting my outgoing audio or putting the call on hold, as I can't always remember the number by the time I return to the call,or end up accidently hanging up on the caller?

Should be able to hit the home key and navigate the phone like normal I believe.

thats how i do it with my droid

If you hit home while on a call there will be a phone icon on your status bar to let you know your still talking to that person. I've tried to pull up the web on a call but its really unresponsive

Yes, that would be the way to do it, and then . . .

that's the way to get back to the call you're on.
