Calculater from source, (Just because I like source, the other worked fine)
Calendar updated (now it syncs with google calendars)

Install instructions:

This is a new style of install for me and the Droid community in general. The update.zip format will only remove those files necessary to install itself, if your phone is odexed, it will deodex it for you and install. It has a very small footprint because it is only installing what is necessary.

1) DO NOT WIPE YOU PHONE, DO NOT FORMAT THE SYSTEM.

2) in your app drawer have bootstrap recovery restart your phone in recovery.

3) Follow these steps exactly:
i. select install zip from sdcard
ii. select choose zip from sdcard
iii. navigate to Tranquility.zip and press the camera button
iv. reboot phone

Creating and Updating Your Boot Image

Windows:

I use Photoshop for my image creation.

Image from scratch:

1) create a new image 480 x 182
2) design your image
3) save your image as photoshop raw (files save as)
- be sure that you leave the header set as 0 (zero)
4) Name your image logo.bin
5) Move your image to the sdcard (/sdcard/TranQ/logo)
6) replace the logo.bin file in the folder with your own logo.bin file

Linux:

I use Gimp for my image creation.

1) create a new image 480 x 182
2) design your image
3) save your image as a raw image data
- you must select the type by pressing ---> selecting the file type (by extension) on the bottom left. DO NOT CHANGE ANY OPTIONS and save
4) Name your image logo.bin
5) Move your image to the sdcard (/sdcard/TranQ/logo)
6) replace the logo.bin file in the folder with your own logo.bin file

Thanks to Dustin Jorge for these simplified instructions

How to change your boot animation choice

You can personalize your custom boot animation choice by simply taking your favorite boot animation and
1) open your sdcard on your computer
2) navigate to the TranQ/boot folder
3) replace bootanimation.zip with your own file
4) use the Toolbox to change your boot animation.

p3 - you are awesome kuya!!! (ExtremeDX can translate). Pls forgive me, but since you put it out on TBH, I couldn't help but try it out. Here I was looking for the 2.3.9 to be completed and you went above and beyond. As I'm sure you're aware, I'm already a supporting member, but there's a special donation coming just for you anyway. You totally made my Tuesday better. Maraming maraming salamat po.!!!!

"Reboot Recovery does not take you to CWM Recovery". So the Bootstrap app no longer functions, or was there a separate "Reboot Recovery" tool baked in? If it's from Bootstrap, how would one get into recovery? The manual vol - (+) pwr or whatever it is? Surely there must still be a way to access recovery to switch ROMs, backup, restore, etc. I'm assuming I'm missing something fairly obvious.....

Mine will not get past the animated boot screen. I've waited 10+ minutes already. Sigh...SBF time? Or can I do a factory reset within the stock bootloader since there's no way for me to get to the clockwork recovery.???

Edit...it only gets half way into the boot animation. The logo starts to fly in from the left side but that's it. It freezes and tries again to no avail.

You can access clockwork via bootstrap app, there is a recovery button in the Toolbox but only works for dev phones as of right now.

You will need to give more information so I can help you..

What did you have before, what did you do, and what happened after.

I originally had RubiX 1.0. I installed over it and it booted find but I my home button was inoperative. I decided to restore a 'stock' rooted 2.2 nandroid that I had created after installing from the leaked version from Clockwork. This essentially put me back to stock with root only. I then booted into recovery and installed TranQ 3.0. I get the boot image (that replaced the 'M') then shortly after that, it tries to load the boot animation but only starts loading part of it and appears to try to keep loading the animation. I've already booted into factory recovery (home + power button) and did a 'Factory Reset'. Still have the same results.

SBF? Thanks.

Tranquility is awesome, thanks for all the hard work you do P3Droid!!

I have a suggestion.... Can you add "<supports-screens android:largeScreens="true" android:anyDensity="true" />" to the TranQ ToolBox and the TBH app? Otherwise those of us with modified screen densities get the shoebox, non full screen, effect (change ro.sf.lcd_density to 200 to see what I mean).

Thanks again, and keep up the great work P3Droid!

P3droid- I just tweeted at you, because I always forget how great you are at supporting us in this forum... First off, thank you so much for all your awesome leaks and hard work. I am donating right now...
Second, If I never ota'd, but I did a full sbf for 2.2, am I stuck at 2.2? Should I upgrade my bootloader? Is it already upgraded? Is there a way to check? I just don't want to be left behind when gingerbread comes out.
Love your rom. Best by far.

If you have the TBH App installed on your phone, then it is available for download there. Make sure that you already have Droid X Bootstrap installed as well. I followed p3droid's instructions and was successfully changed over in a matter of minutes. It works wonderfully and he also took care of the 'docked' lock screen problem that was showing up in 2.3.9
