I personally have yet to understand the mass hysteria and angst whenever a new release comes out. You all were warned that there was no official way to go back to 2.3.15 from 2.3.320, you were also told that you would have a method a way for you to upgrade to the official release when it became known and available.

In the future please relax and enjoy your phones.

Before you begin you need to make sure you have a fully charged battery, rsdlite, and the a vry good understanding of what you are doing.

Upgrading from 2.3.320 to 2.3.340
To upgrade from the leaked 2.3.320 to the official 2.3.340 requires you to flash the system only sbf flash file, you will be odexed, or official.

Step One: Download the 2.3.340 system only file (currently only available in the TBH app.

Step Two: Using Rsdlite, install the system only sbf file to your phone.

Step Three: enjoy the newest software and Madden 2011.

Upgrading from 2.3.15 to 2.3.340

Step One: Download and flash the 2.3.320 sbf file or flash the BL_2.3.320_System_2.2.1.zip

Step Two: Download and flash the 2.3.340 system only sbf file.

*****************************************************************

Release notes:

The reason for releasing a system only sbf file is that no other parts of the phone have been changed. The kernel and baseband have not changed from 2.3.320 therefore they are not needed.

Question, after we sbf to .340 (odexed, yuck), then flash 3.6, will that deodex .340? I assume yes, but asking anyway. BTW Thanks P3droid!

So if we have 3.5.1 should we flash .340 and then apply 3.6 and don't wipe before or after you flash

Don't Wipe just SBF. This is way easier and less stressful than flashing the 2.3.320 leak. Just SBF reroot and flash Tranquility 3.6. It's that easy.

You have to find the .apk and place it on your SD card and install from there.

When attempting to flash I am getting this error: Phone[0000]: Phone is not compatible with multi-interface super-file.

I'm using VMWare Fusion to run Windows 7 on my mac. The phone connected right away to RSDLite no problem, however when I run it with the sbf file I get this error.

Any ideas?
