I would wait for the 2.3.340 verizon OTA to be pushed to your phone...happening now for some. Go to system info and check for updates. #43 OFFLINEPosted 11 December 2010 - 01:00 PM mcp770 said: you try booting into bootloader and doing sbf? Use instructions a couple posts above if not. I"ve done in the past all the flashing etc with RSD etc. this phone is DEAD.. #44 OFFLINEPosted 11 December 2010 - 01:02 PM r0cketman8906 said: Is there anyway i can use these files if im running 2.3.15?? BUT, here's how I got RSD to recognize my DX. -Set DX USB connection to "PC Mode" and also have "USB debugging" enabled. -Then on RSD Lite click the "Config" tab at in the top left menu bar. -From the drop down menu select, "DeviceId Options" -Mine was on "Automatic" by default. Select "First-Come-First-Serve DeviceId Mode" -You may have to close RSD and relaunch the program for the new settings to take place. -Once RSD is restarted you should see your phone listed.
DX on, forget it. I change ROMs too often to keep changing sigs. :workout

Hmm, something else is wrong with your phone, as the phone should power on with/without a kernel. if none is avaialble your phone will just sit at the M, if the kernel has a bad signature you will be sent to bootloader. I would suggest charging your batteries outside of the phone and then attempting again.

Im rooted and Running Rubix Focused 1.9.0 so he blocks OTA updates. So i have to SBF back to 2.3.12 but i cant get my damn X to get recognize on RSD Lite. I have the pc mode enabled, tried both on the config tabs, i start my phone at the bootloader screen, and I've tried two different laptops. I am so clueless now

I downloaded each file then rebooted into recovery. I installed each file one by one. I reboot system out of recovery and I get a black screen that says:
Bootloader 30.04 Err: A5, 70, 39, 00, 27 Battery OK OK to Program Transfer Mode: USB #50 OFFLINEPosted 11 December 2010 - 01:48 PM jamesmaydwell said: I downloaded each file then rebooted into recovery. Not sure if this has been asked or answered yet but it's regarding the 2.2.1 system only sbf downloaded through TBH. When its downloaded to the phone through the app, can you (If you wanted to) reboot into recovery and apply the sbf from the sd card to flash back to stock .340 or do you still have to use RSD or the other standard flashing processes? Thanks

Worked like a charm, thanks TBH. Quality stuff as per usual. One thing that I did that wasn't totally clear in the instructions is when I loaded into recovery, I just installed a .zip from the sdcard, not the apply update.zip. Don't want anyone unnecessarily bricking their phones because they've got an outdated update.zip sitting out there on their phone :)

Also if you have DXoverclock if you update the kernel uninstall the app and reinstall from the market works perfect after that.
