I'll go out on the wild side and say NO. And even if it did why would you want to go backwards to use it. It is a 2.2 build of Android not 2.2.1 like what we currently have on the X.

Nice work, and thanks for the release as always P3 & TBH.

Before I give this a go, I have to root and would like to know if it even works on 2.3.20. Has anyone tried this and actually prefer it to the stock froyo + blur on Droid 2? I'm going to root anyway, but I'd like to know what the real benefits are other than just having the profiles and blur buttons. Thanks for any replies and for the work on 3.0.0!

So if I apply this, will this install as a totally new ROM or will this be like an update to the phone and keep all my data as it is.

So is Blur 3.x going to allow for a more vanilla look of Android or is that Blur + a custom theme?

Im sorry but c'mon people.

"This is Motorola Build Blur (3.0.0) System 2.2 - it has been deodexed, busyboxed, and given root. "

I think that's pretty straight forward.

Now my comment is that the Market Upgrade seems to f' app restorals. My apps were restoring fine until the market updated then the stalled and I couldn't get them going again. Otherewise im anxious to give this a whirl, and see if some of my problems go away. Just wish it was 2.2.1... or even better 2.3 ;).

The TBH app says you must wipe data, so I did.

The update does Format your /System and updates your Kernel. Hopefully we can still SBF back when the official update is out. I have faith in P3Droid.

Any updates on the app restore through market place? Is it working yet? And do you lose everything on your phone when install this?

Pretty sure he was talking about the System Apps... not the kernel and whatnot... It'd be nice to have those Work/Home/Weekend profiles on the X.

Just installed, everything looks good except the camera app opens to a black screen and then returns to the home screen. 3rd party apps that use the camera work fine. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm sure you can go back to a previous backup as usual. Haven't tried this rom yet. It replaces the baseband though. Not sure if you can flash without baseband. Also, there is no sbf for 3.0, so if it goes bad, i think it can go very bad-correct me if I'm wrong someone.

It is a blur rom and being so, it is slower than some custom roms that are out. That is why i haven't tried it. Pretty spoiled with the other that are out now.

I found that if you open the market app and keep it up while it restores it won't upgrade. This allows the restore to happen correctly... For me at least.

Again, you need to wipe data... So it's like a factory reset. I did an additional factory reset after flashing the system and kernel updates.

I haven't tried profiles yet but this allows you to select additional exchange folders aside from inbox to sync in the background. So flipping amazing! Why it's taken this long I don't know, but if I want to rape my battery I'm glad motorola now let's me. It does feel a little extra sluggish at times even with my Droid 2 running at 1.3GHz.
