Same problem for me.

Question: I have rooted froyo, then installed OTA update to GB. DO I need to to roll back to froyo, update to Gingerbread and re root or is possible to directly flash the "SBF" GingerBread? Thank you.

When I rooted my Droid Pro, I mistakenly deleted 3 of the "Authenticator" apps through Titanium Backup. Now, my contacts app "force closes" when I attempt to add a new contact or modify an existing contact. I realize this was a mistake and that I can't restore these system apps through Titanium Backup. So, I'm trying to fix my phone.

I was told to make a nandroid backup using CWM -- the only app I saw that would do this was ROM Manager. Are there others? I also downloaded Bootstrap for Droid2.

Using ROM Manager, I flashed CWM Recovery, and it did install. But, when I tried to make a backup, nothing happens - it reboots but there is not backup file available in the "Manage & Restore backups." It seems like this has happened to other people, but I don't understand how to fix it.

Also - I do not understand how to use the Droid Boostrap app. I started it and pressed Reboot Recovery and it booted into a recovery mode, but I wasn't sure what to do from there. When I turned the phone off and then back on it was normal again. What is this about volume down and power?? Does the SBF file do the same thing as the Bootstrap app, in that it boots to recovery? What do I do at the recovery screen?

I am sorry, but I"m really new to this and will need terms to be defined. I would really appreciate any help I can get and would honestly be willing to pay someone a few bucks to walk me through the process step by step.

if anyone is stuck in the situation like i was. after you SBF, if the phone lags too much and wont let you do a factory reset through the regular settings, boot into the phones STOCK recovery mode. to do this you need to power off your phone. then when you are ready, press and hold down the power button + r + m button all at once until the triangle comes up. after the triangle comes up press @ and that will get you into the stock recovery menu. use the volume rocker keys to navigate up and down the list. then go to "data wipe/factory reset" and press the ENTER key. after it finishes wiping, REBOOT. after it finishes rebooting, you should have a clean slate on your hands and should be good to go.

SBF File md5sum = 5e68d752333025ab5bbf63b8e5fc07e6

I have found the 2.26.20 drivers elsewhere, but the md5 sum does not match yours. I need to SBF back to 2.26.20 for the old baseband version that could be unlocked, whenever i use the sbf I found it leaves the baseband version at N_01.81.00R which is too high for the band unlock.
