I'm curious how those screen shots were taken with drocap2. I thought that drocap required root??

It does

I assume the screen caps are from your dev phone, since you've got drocap running?
Droid X, that is all...

TBH has phones that are not consumer phones, therefore we gain root differently. Allowing me/us to take drocap pics. But we are trying to find a root method that works for all of you as well.

Just guessing but I get the sense that this will be similar to the "rom" of the leaked 3.4.2 that TBH released a little while ago. I'm currently running that version and it is rather nice. Devs were able to figure out how to root it using the super one click method and the droid 2 bootstrap needs to be used to flash back within recovery.

p3droid - Do you think once the official release is out it will be rootable or do you think this is a new trend?

I asked him the same thing & he replied: The communty is very clever, so yes I think it will. Many minds can do great things

Oh I gotcha. I got a little excited when I saw the screen shots! :) Have you guys tried the super one click method that is used for the 3.4.2 leak that you guys put out a little while ago?

Every known method has been tried and it does not work on the consumer units. Like P3 commented the screen shots are from a root build but from his dev unit which works differently then consumer units that have the locked bootlaoder

Since we can easily restore to a rootable phone via the monster340 zip I for one say release it. Imo it is no different than installing a custom rom in that respect. I would rather play with a supposed great stock rom now and wait for a root method than wait for everything. Being stuck with a great running fully functional stock rom is ok in my book. Especially if I can revert to 340 and roms if I hate it. Sounds ready to go to me. Can't wait to see something new in the tbh app!

I'm hoping the blue tint in the status bar is a p3 mod cuz I definitely like the stock gingerbread look better than those shots...

this is the most current build sent to vzw.. not a rom but the entire build... I was told last night it scored over 1900 with the " bloat " in it

Have there been any issues found in this build and do you guys happen to know why Verizon rejected it?
