Hi John, yes it supports root and is an excellent build. It also supports using the band unlock and GSM performance is far superior to the previous radio firmware. Overall this build is incredibly stable and without question the best build yet for this phone.

My curent up time testing this build on my Pro with AT&T SIM is 221 hours without any radio resets or any other issues.

Any comments on the supposed improvements on corporate exchange syncing? This is the primary issue for Droid Pro users needing business email & calendar to work properly.
