Can we still sbf to 340 from 596 and then flash the 2 part zip to retain root?

This build is can not be rooted, you can sbf to .340 and use the update.zips to make it to .596 Think of this as an "use as needed" type sbf Liberty 2.0.1, Apex 2, Zapx, Zombiestomped #7 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2011 - 01:30 PM
There is no root for .596 unless doing P3 method of updating. And yes you can sbf back to .340 considering the update file itself didn't update bootloader. Thanks P3droid!

LOL, yeah there are 4 of us, but the switch over to P4Droid didn't work so well <for anyone>. Edited by p3droid, 05 June 2011 - 03:59 PM. #10 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2011 - 02:14 PM

Do you think that a disk-SBF could now be made with GB instead of Froyo??? That would be so nice :) Edited by TeeX, 05 June 2011 - 04:35 PM. #17 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2011 - 04:48 PM
You can use winrar or 7zip to get the goods out of the compressed package

7zip works great. Thanks

If anyone has played around with this yet...
Have you noticed if it updates the kernel and baseband? (I don't doubt it does, just curious) Did anyone notice any irregularities when sbfing from 596 back to 340? Like things that didn't revert back to froyo status for instance? Liberty 2.0.1, Apex 2, Zapx, Zombiestomped #20 OFFLINEPosted 05 June 2011 - 06:23 PM
