At noon as promised!


After a long awaited hiatus here is the latest in the DarkSlide evolution. This build is based off of the latest Gingerbread build .596.

Credits: I would just like to say simply thanks to every dev in the community. Without each ones dedication and creativity we would never be where we are today.

Deodexed
De-bloated
battery in 10% increments
ad-blocker
su and busybox installed
speed tweaks
Battery management tweaks
New Black Market
Spare-parts
BackupAssistant
More icon work
Optimized system
Zip aligned

And a lot of other stuff Im too lazy to list…lol

Installation:

You MUST already be on rooted 596 to install this ROM


Download and place zip on your sdcard
Using Droid2 bootstrap boot into recovery
wipe data/factory reset
Wipe Dalvik
Wipe Battery Stats
Install from zip
Choose Zip
Install Darkslide X

Sit back and let it install, first boot may take a while

To install update:
place update on sdcard
Boot into CWR
install zip from sdcard
choose zip from sdcard
install

I have put a lot of work into this release and if you would like to use parts of it to create your own ROM all I ask you to do is have fun, android is for everyone. Just give me a little credit :)

FC's in Market when you try to search something. Clearing data and cache didn't correct issue. Any suggestions BBC?

Not being a dick, just giving you bugs I"ve found so far lol...
no "2" visable as secondary option on keyboard.
Terms of service for market is white/white so you can't read it.
Market FC when you search something.

Are the batt stats in 1%?

Yes, I disabled the link while I try and duplicate your concerns... I wasnt having these issues so I will start from scratch on the load and see what I can do. I am using my consumer X so I should be able to duplicate. Sorry for the headache

BBC, I got it loading now. Just wanted to check on the 1% battery reporting. Was that a typo or is it real?
