Not yet... I've been thinking about it, I just don't know if I want to jump it yet. The CM7 base (or at least, that's what I'm gathering from the posts) makes me slightly uneasy considering not much has happened on CM7 in awhile (with a lot still broken or not performing very well).

I never used it, I always sbf to 2.3.340, root and install from there. Just go to the newest nightly and load it, not sure the cm7 monster is keeping up with the nightlies. Then there are several zip files out there that fix everything at one time, only thing that's still not fixed that's major is camera button; but can use on screen shutter to take pictures. I can vouch for Liquid ROM, which is based off CM7. It works almost flawlessly. And it is really fast. I can't speak for CM7, but to ignore all the ROMs based off it is cheating your phone....lol. In the end, it's your phone (obviously) and I loved the Liberty ROM when I was on it. I wonder when it will actually be ready and no more beta....not complaining, just curious. Any way, good luck with whichever you decide to go with.

I ran Liquid for a few days, but installed MIUI last night as I was dozing off.
Been playing with it today, and it's really different than anything I've used before. I like it, but it's such a big difference from anything I've used that I don't know if I can get used to it. It is truly fast, though. :) #9 OFFLINEPosted 24 July 2011 - 07:12 PM

I've been running this since the weekend and I totally LOVE it. Everything works perfectly, the battery life is good, it's slick looking, and I have the Sense 3.0 lockscreen on it. How sweet is that?

I love this rom, its fast and everything works from what i can tell. For those who say it looks too iphonish, just change your theme or put some other custom launcher on it. It looks good, works good, battery life is good, no blur, and everything works, what else do you want.

I just switched from cm4dx. Miui is insane. More features than most roms. Fast and stable. Is Iphone like with stock launcher and theme, but add lpp or adw and one of the hundred or so other themes, or you can easily mix theme items from various roms.

Fast, stable, some nice original apps, and again, easily changed so it is not iphone like. More themes than any other ROM out there. Many options, firewall, easy screen shots..... I will stop now. I don't have issues with using roms based off other roms, but cm4dx still has some stuff to fix before I'd consider it a good base for other roms. But that's just me. Using Broodcomb 5 right now and pretty happy overall.
