No, I know to leave that zipped. I haven't sbf'd in a while. Wasn't much fun if memory serves. I saw a post earlier from p3 that said he updated the op to include root.

Yeah, I just saw that, though I downloaded mine after the fact, must have gotten old mirror, sorry. You should have to unzip anything dealing with SBF.

If your not lucky with SBF'ing I would try

The install worked perfectly except that i have no root. This was done just now so it appears the two-part .zips are not rooted yet...

Did you redownload after P3Droid updated the zips this morning? Try redownloading the zips and trying again.

I was running TBH 2 part gingerbread .596 and took the Moto update from about phone check for updates. I lost root access but gained .13P radio. To get root back I downloaded su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed and installed from recovery. Now I have .13p radio and the update with root access no SBF needed.

It could have issues as 602 comes with a different kernel.

Did the screen lock slider disappear or is it just me? I had this issue yesterday. I just completed an SBF of .340 and installed the 2 part ZIP this morning and restored just my data. I booted up with no problems and the radio / kernel are where they should be. When I set a pin unlock, nothing happens. To unlock my phone I can either push the power button or the home button and I am immediately onto the main screen. There is no slide to unlock bar. Seems strange.

I am in the same situation as you. What do you mean install from recovery?

It was this morning but around 8:15 central time. I redownloaded just now and they are the exact same size down to the kilobyte. Is it possible that it's been updated but retained the exact same size?
