not the actual CWR for the D3
Good afternoon everyone. According to a reliable source we have just been informed that the Motorola Droid 3 now has a fully functioning recovery. This is great news for those that want to have the flexibility that CWR brings to the Android line of devices. Currently we don't have the specifics regarding the method of installation but according to P3 more information will follow soon..
I know there are a lot of excited D3 owners and Devs out there hearing this. I also hope this means we'll see the X2 and the Bionic to Follow. Let the Backups and Flashing begin.

Honestly i'm happy with my OG Droid running GingerBread. Putting another version of software out when the others haven't been perfected is just crazy IMO.
Either there is something missing in your sentence or there is something I don't see here or maybe you don't understand... Your OG Droid is probably running CWR or another boot-loader based upon CWR. OG stands for "Original Gangster," so if you have the OG Droid, then you have the Droid1. This post is regarding Droid 3, which will never be regarded as "OG." If CWR was abandoned for being buggy, your OG droid would be running 2.2 with sub-par performance, features and battery life rather then what is doing now.
IT is a GREAT thing that they got CWR working on the droid 3. Thank you guys!!!
