P3 and myself have teamed up on this release for the Droid Charge. It is built off the latest GingerBread release EP1W with a lot of modifications added. We have also included a brand new toolbox to make modding it yourself a little easier.

Is this build completely bug free, of course not but we do try to keep them to a minimum by not trying to incorporate things that shouldnt be there. We have kept this ROM completely odexed for performance reasons so please do not try and flash a theme over the top, you will end up with a nice paperweight until you flash with odin again.

This is the ROM only, toolbox will be posted as soon as we finish working on a couple of things.

You must be on EP1W prior to flashing this ROM

if you need to flash EP1W go HERE

If you need the CWR see the bottom of the page (Credit goes to imnuts for the clockwork recovery)

This is a flashable in CWM
This is NOT deodexed (for performance reasons)
You must be on EP1W
You must install Busybox from the market if you do not already have it installed. Recommended is Stericsons busybox.
You must install the DCTQ update for the toolbox to work

Install

Wipe, Wipe, Wipe and Wipe again

Use CWR
Download DCTQ and place on your sdcard
Install from zip
choose zip
install
reboot

Toolbox install

Use CWR
Mount system
Install from zip
Choose zip
Install
reboot

If you have bugs please post them here. I have been running this a while without any issues but that doesnt mean that you wont have any. If you have a problem and someone is not available to help you right away and you need your device flash back to EP1W and I will get to it as soon as I can.

Updates are few and far between unless there is a hotfix that needs to be done

If you missed the screen shots in earlier threads - I will post more tomorrow (09/20/11)

I would love to try this and apologize for the the NooB questions and if i'm not posting this in the correct area. First off my Droid Charge is rooted and i'm using kernel 2.6.35.7-Ep1F.
Everytime I try to flash to EP1W using Odin I get a failed message and can only go back to EP1F. I tried wiping my data and doing it thru Rom Manager but still doesn't work. WTF am I doing wrong? Please help and again sorry if I'm not posting this in the corre

First of all you dont have to worry about posting in the right area, no one will come down on you.

As far as flashing EP1W it sounds like you have a bad tar file. You might want to redownload the ODIN file and try again.

First rom manager does not work on the charge. second you need to odin the e p 1 w radios... third you need to odin clockworkmon...also asking is good

I'm on another EPW1 rom (not a factory release) can i just wipe and flash Darkcharge TQ or will i have a possible Kernel issue and should go back to a factory rom .. Thank you in advance
