I was able to upgrade with all my Bloatware frozen and I was even able to boot into Bootstrap Recovery and push the SU Binary zip back onto the device to regain root from within the recovery console.

I punted with .605 ota update from .602 rooted, just cause well.. I like to see what happens..heh What did happen was, it took the .605 update, rebooted and it caused a wierd bootloop. It would reboot after everything loaded, and what appeard to be when SU would ask for the first permission. Hard to say for sure, but that's what appeared to be happening. It did that cycle 3 times then booted to CWR .. at which point i just loaded my .602 backup.

From the op:

DROIDX 4.5.602 to 4.5.605 update.zip: --links to Blur_Version 4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US.zip

wrong link or is that correct?

What's the name of the file, size and where is it stored? I keep getting the update notifyer too but I am having Superuser problems so I don't want to reboot until I can make sure it won't update.

Thanks!

The update files for OTA 602 to 605 are as follows:

/cache/Blur_Version.4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US.zip
/cache/Blur_Version.4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US.crc

Gotta love this community! Thanks all!

Just freeze Updater 2.3.3 with whatever app you have that has that capability. I used TB. No Mo update window! :kicknuts
DX on, forget it. I change ROMs too often to keep changing sigs. :workout

Anyone on a DroidX running .605 rooted with WT? I am curious to test the waters with .605 and WT, but I would like to hear if anyone can confirm or deny that WT works with .605 being rooted.

I am familiar with bootstrap to some extent, but can someone detail how I would "push the SU Binary Zip onto .605"???

Not exactly sure what steps he is referring to but I was having all sorts of problems with SU yesterday after it updated to 3.0, I finally got it corrected by installing the zip through recovery zip installs.

Here's the link to the 3.0 version(su-3.0-efgh-signed.zip):
