noob here with problems, 902 bionic, stock, rooted & deodexed. I installed the file for stock bar mods, & i cant seem to get it to work. Do i remove the djtools.apk before i flash it? Right now i have the djtools app in my drawer and any changes i make , it doesnt affect anything in the status bar.
ok, I finally figured it out, i was using safestrap recovery to flash it, & it wasn't working. Once i swithched to clockwork and flashed it , it works now.

Hey guys,
I'm new to this mod. I've been running Th3ory ROMs since I got the phone, but have never installed this mod by itself. Today I went through the process of going from the leaked .901 to the "official" .902. I ran the deodexer and installed the black bar mod. When I first boot up, on the lock screen, it says DroidJunk in blue at the top of the screen. If I unlock the phone and pull down toggle menu, I see the green toggles and Android for just a second and then everything goes gray. After that, I only have grey buttons on a white background and the lock screen text is gone. Everything comes back momentarily if I reboot, but goes away within a few seconds. I tried re-downloading and re-installing everything with the exact same results. I am completely stock other than this mod, deodexing, and rooting. Any idea what is going on? Thanks! Really love this mod and the reboot option in the power menu. I have decided that this is all I need to add to a stock phone. I have no need to run a custom ROM anymore.

Have you used the app DJTools to costomize it? It was installed with the mod. In the OP in NOTES it explains it takes 10-15 secs for the settings to take effect after a reboot. It was designed to stay stock. :) Stock is not bad it just needs a little help.

Thanks for the response. I have customized it and it seems good now, I think. What's strange is that it shows up with green buttons and android text and it says droidjunk on the lock screen for the first 15 seconds and then goes to a stock look even though custom colors are selected in the app. Once I changed the colors they seem to stick though. Also, all of the buttons are on a white background even though I installed the black one.

Another thing I've noticed is that after a reboot, I have a circle battery indicator and it changes to a digital number at some point.

Am I just missing something?

Can you send a screenshot of the white background?

There is an animated circle while charging and numbers when not.

You should be able to set the toggle background color. The "black" you are referring to is for the statusbar and pulldown.

My bad. Everything is as it should be. I'm just new to the mod and misunderstood some things. Everything is great now! Thanks!

Is there any way to change which toggles are displayed? That would be fantastic.

Sorry, but no. I am no longer developing this. I will make sure they work with the official 902, but I would excpect ICS to be after that. At that point they most likley wont work.

All of my custom settings disappear after a reboot. Is this normal? Is there a fix?
Thanks

If you have had previous versions of this you might need to remove the old DJTools.apk. It was listed in the instructions.

Never had it installed before. It may have been installed with a ROM before, but my phone is now stock following a fresh fxz. I can't find any old versions of the app anywhere. I did read the op and followed it.

I would try uninstalling the app, rebooting then reinstall.

Can't think of any reason other than the requirement of a Bionic with 902. Check the OP.

Either restore to stock, or replace the battery icons in the zip with your own, or ROM Toolbox can install different battery icons for you. There is one called Bionical that has stock Bionic colors.
