Just recently went to the Market and into "My apps" to see if there were any updates and found it saying "Applications and games owned by this account will appear here." with buttons to Browse apps and Browse games.

When I actually searched for purchased and downloaded games on my phone, they showed up and showed as either installed or needing updates. Updates installed and ran fine. Newly downloaded apps work fine, but do NOT show up in the My apps list.

I tried clearing the Market cache and data with no luck. Tried uninstalling the update with no luck. The problem spontaneously resolved a day later to my relief, then reappeared a week later to my frustration! This problem now continues into the second week.

A few other things I tried with mixed results:
1) Reset the phone to factory settings. When I entered my google account into the phone and went to the market, it had rolled back to the earlier market version, but this time it DID show my purchased apps! Once the market updated, though, it went back to the problem described above. Uninstalling the update does NOT resolve the problem (and wouldn't help anyhow as it automatically updates anyhow...).
2) Created a new google account and entered that. Going to the market and switching to that account shows the basic (system) phone apps and anything I've downloaded from this account as normal!

So, it appears to be an issue with my original google account AND the updated version of the Market together.

Anyone have any thoughts on how I might address this? All my purchased apps are through my original google account, so I'm not free to just switch to another account.

Thanks in advance.
-Ravi

Same issue, and already reported to google, it appears to be an issue with the Bionic. So if you are at factory reset, and you can try one or both of these methods. On your old account Open the market after your phone boots, don't download don't even go to the my apps section of the market. Just open the market, and hit your home key. Wait 45 minutes just to be safe, but should only take 15 minutes for the market to self update. After the update is complete, you can check the version on your apps manager should change from stock to 3.1.1. I believe is the newest. Then access your my apps section of the market. If it's blank. Try the second method. From factory reset, open market, and download 1 paid app and one free app from the market and go to the home screen. Wait the 45 minutes again for the market to self update and check your my apps section again. If both fail, report to google on your old account. I use a app locker so I can directly navigate to the market for each app. Problem is I have 300 apps, and some are from Amazon apps. So you will have to try to keep them separate. Takes about 15 minutes once a week to quickly check all the apps. So not a very big deal. Just a pain. You can always log in from a desktop pc and see every app, paid or free that has ever been downloaded. Of course if you are like me, I had a different phone with the same account, this was supposed to be the google benefit, but guess it's a pain at the moment.

I am having the exact same problem. But I am tired of doing a factory reset. Just don't have time to set everything back up again right now. I also reported this to Google. I think something is messed on my primary account, somehow. This all started one day while playing with titanium backup. I've tried about everything and still can't get it "my apps" back.

Rooted, on 5.7.893

Hey all, I experienced this same problem as well, although I am rocking a droid X, the problem in my perspective is between your google market account and the use of titanium backup's "market feautures". I do download amazon free daily apps and have seen the android market show my amazon downloaded apps as having updates available, but then deny me the option to update them through the android market. I have been using Titanium back up pro features and all for a long time now, but though upon seeing this initial hangup between my androidmarket market and amazon marketaccount apps, that i would play around with the market doctor features. For starters i detached apps from the android market, which i did not want to see in my apps list, suh as apps i removed from my phone (my verizon), i also detached apps that would tell me i had an update available, but with them being procured through amazon, would simply never update in the android market. I realize my reduncies in delivery my message, so more to the point, after detaching and a day or two, the apps would reemerge in my android market apps list, the detach from market feature is a bit weak in the TB app. Another thing, likely my own dumb boredom induced stupid moment of mine i thought ihave might try to force attach apps to my android market, big mistake, i actually even played with forcing system apps not normally part of the offerings on the android market. I basically corrupted my android market account. I have played with every mention solution, clearing cache factory resets, blah blah blah, no dice. Since i sbf alot as things go anyway, i tried that, start from scratch approach. No dice. In the end ihave believe the solution for me which fixed my google account curroption, was in a more riskier. I factory reset everything from my favorite custom build of Ggingerbread, activated my phone, skipped signing into my corrupted google account until my phone was setup fully, then opened android market, at which point i was prompted to enter an email address, so i used my corrupted one. Searched out apps like superuser, busy box, and titantium back up free and pro, so as to have all up to date. Then once all was ready for use i opened titantiaum back up, refreshed my app list, went into settings/ preferences, made all restored apps be sideloaded and not to appear from the market when restored and selected market links to be removed when apps were frozen, once those were set, i went to batch features, and took a big risk, i selected, freeze all system and user apps, the unselected only titanium backup, so as not to entirely shoot myself in the foot. Then let that operation run its long course, after that, and without exiting the program i ran another batch operation to defrost all system and user apps. Rebooted my phone and check my amazon apps section, it was allback, moral to the story dont place with any settings thathave to do with your market account in titanium back up.

I just (today) received an email response from goggle about this problem. Basically they know it's an issue with some accounts and they claim to be working on it. It took a month to get that response from them. In the meantime I use appbrain to keep my market apps up to date.

I forgot to mention, going off the stock Rom to ROMS who edit their Build.prop file to show their own custome name for system version and what not, those effect how Android Market view your phone.

I received a similar response from Google. I am not sure what they mean by working on it. Personally I think my Google account is corrupted somehow with regard to the android market.

I fixed mine today. First I removed all market links with Titanium Backup. Next deleted the 2.db's in /data/data/com.android.vending/databases and rebooted. Next I opened the Market and installed a free app and a paid app that I had previously purchased. At this point some apps showed up in My Apps-it looked like the Verizon bloatware and everything I've ever paid for. All were listed as not installed. Finally I ran the Titanium Backup market fixer, making sure to not link anything from Amazon, or sideloaded, or system apps not in the market. If you try to create a link for an app not from the Market you'll likely need to start over. I tried about 4x, and have almost everything back as it should be.
