you can view the list

Please Login HERE or Register HERE to see this link!

You will need RSD lite which you can get here

One elusive file remains off the list..."Appalachian Wireless". It has amazed me that their SBF file for the Milestone X is not posted anywhere. Evidently not many of their customers using custom ROMS, or the ones who are are just taking a big gamble like I am.

Yes the Milestone X is identical to the Droid X..just different name. They are easy enough to root and overclock and some custom roms like Liberty and Dark slide work alright. Just remember to do a nandroid backup first and never do a factory reset while on a different rom. That will most likely put you on Verizons baseband. Best to just hold off on roms til someone comes up with the SBF.

None for the Bluegrass Cellular MB809.?

I want to flash dark slide but am afraid to without an sbf. Although I would not know how to install the sbf anyway.

Thats the thing. There are almost no sbf files for the Milestone. I am with Bluegrass Cellular and can't or wont flash ROMs because there is no sbf for Bluegrass.

I would love to install some ROMs but one mistake and you have a paperweight. Some have the guts to flash ROMs... I have a son who is running Dark Slide and it works fine. I just don't want to take the chance. I am not that lucky.

Go to Droid X Forums. There is a post there with all the known sbfs for the Milestone X. Im not sure, but think there are Milestone sbfs there also. Just depends on who your provider is.

The Droid X sbfs trash the radio in the Milestones... Therefore making it unable to place and receive calls.. Not sure what else isn't the same but know that the radios are different. One is CDMA and the other is GSM. I am pretty sure.

IF anyone has a sbf for bluegrass please contact me..

Good Luck.

Ok guys I have just purchased a Motorola milestone with froyo. I have it rooted and want to upgrade to gingerbread with the cyanogen mod. My issue is that no matter what I do I still get stuck on the Android system recovery screen.> I wipe the cache partition and try to apply sdcard:update.zip, when I do this though I get the message;
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted

I have successfully flash the drive with RSD lite using the milestone root sbf but I am just going nuts trying to upgrade this crappy froyo.

Please Help.
