Initially mine was worse but now it seems the same. No difference on 4G at least. Still -94 dBm at my house

Went from -113 on 4g to -120 3g after flashing this. Awesome.

LTE radio went on, rebooted and saw improvement. Went back into fastboot to flash cdma radio and lo and behold I now have no service. Flashing stock radios right now. Lets hope that fixes it.

Edit: All is good after flashing back stock radios. Weird. I'd recommend staying away from this one for now.


Edit again: Curiosity got the best of me. Tried it with Clockwork method. This time, the service at least works, but signal is much much worse.

Don't know about this phone but HTC Sense ROMs were separate from the radio. Probably a separate step here too (at least that's how I feel unless I hear for SURE otherwise).

Where did you get the stock radios so I can flash them back because I lost 4g with the new ones and I want it back lol.

Which way did you guys try it? Fastboot or CWM? CWM worked for me, but had the same issue as you guys using Fastboot.

Anyway, to fix:

Download the stock 4.0.2 image from droid-life.com/2011/12/16/how-to-unroot-the-galaxy-nexus-re-lock-the-bootloader-and-return-to-a-factory-state/

Unzip it to your sdk platform tools folder (you'll have to unzip it twice, you'll see what I mean.)

Make sure the files are not in their own folder, but actually in the platform tools folder where your adb and fastboot are

Then,

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-toro-i515.ek02.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio-cdma radio-cdma-toro-i515.ek05.img

Then just power button on the start screen. Verify in about phone>status

So seriously....where do we get the original radios to flash back to in recovery?? These totally don't work on my phone. Now I have no mobile data, and can maybe make calls sometimes.

Apparently there is a network data outage across the country....

Others are experiencing the same thing. I just flashed back to the stock and same thing....

My guess is that all will be okay by morning.

I installed it via clockwork and restored to old radios using fastboot.

Depending on your router, change your phone's WiFi settings from Auto to either 5GHz or 2.4GHz:

WiFi > Menu > Advanced WiFi > WiFi frequency band

Connecting to my DLink router was no issue (set to Auto) but for some reason I was having issues connecting to my friend's dual-band Cisco router until I made that change and now it links up just fine.
