I don't worry about battery life that's what a charger is for. Well in my case I just swap batteries every 4 hours. I gave 3 batteries my phone doesn't charge

If I was using the phone I would understand it, I just can't stand the way the battery is draining when I am not using it and I can't find out what is draining the battery. When I called Verizon prior to going with a ROM, they always said the phone is doing more than my droid x used to, so that was why the battery life was so much worse. I could understand that if I am using it, but when it sits idle, what can it be doing more than the X. Just seems like this phone has a hard time going into and staying in a deep sleep mode.

I would suggest getting one of these two apps from the market:
THese should give you a good idea what is wakelocking the phone and keeping it from deep sleep. I hope you get it figured out!

Almost a week has gone by and no mrgates should we gather a search party? Also I need a nuclear reactor to power my phone.

"Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat.

Thanks again for these, I have been using Badass Battery Monitor. Seems on days of lite use like today, Android OS and Kernel are the primary items listed under Apps that are using my battery. It did help me identify some others, that I still can't figure out how to stop even though I told them not to sync, like facebook, so may just have to uninstall those. #1233 OFFLINEPosted 20 March 2012 - 05:56 AM
FB is notorious for running in the background all the time. Happens almost everyday to me. Like maps used to. I found a trick for that though. If you open up recent apps and see maps running even though you didn't open it, open it then and let it find your location and then close it out. It will stop running all the time then.

Does anyone know if flashing the 4.0.4 radios with this ROM will cause any problems, anyone try it yet. I saw them for a different ROM which had to be installed separately, so thought I would try adding them to this one, but if it will cause issues I will just wait. They just updated the 4G network in my area and I am on the outskirts, but thought the new radio may help with retrieving the signal. I have a co-worker with a Razr and she gets 4G on and off, I have never seen it on my GN while at work

I believe it has the radios and boot loader for 4.0.4. Found it while I was looking into Axiom Crossbreed. Not that I am looking to leave, just looking to see what else is out there

Quick Question:
Is there a way to turn off the vib when typing on the keyboard. I noticed that changing it in the normal settings doesn't turn off the typing vibration. (this may have been answered in the previous pages, but I haven't had a chance to go through all 62 pages.) #1240 OFFLINEPosted 20 March 2012 - 01:22 PM
I just dl and flashed his zip radios there 4.0.3 not 4.0.4
